The editor license
- Screenray costs $30, once. Your registration code activates the app on up to 3 machines you use, and updates in this series are free from your account.
- Use it personally or commercially — everything you record and export is yours, for any purpose.
- Don’t share, resell, or publish registration codes, and don’t redistribute the app itself. A revoked or refunded purchase deactivates its code.
Refunds
If Screenray doesn’t work out on your setup, reply to your Stripe receipt within 14 days of purchase and you’ll get a full refund. Sendio subscription charges for a started month aren’t refunded — cancel instead, and the month you’ve paid for runs out normally.
Sendio — the sharing subscription
- Sendio is an optional monthly add-on for license holders: exporting in Screenray uploads the video you chose to share and puts its link on your clipboard. The editor never requires it.
- Each plan includes a hosted video library allowance (Lite 10 GB · Plus 40 GB · Studio 100 GB) and a monthly viewing allowance (30 / 80 / 160 GB of streaming). Viewing allowances reset each calendar month; uploads past your library allowance are declined until you delete something or move up a plan.
- When a video’s viewing exceeds your plan’s monthly allowance, its links show a “resting until next month” page rather than streaming — nothing is deleted.
- Cancel anytime from your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you’ve paid for. Links you’ve already shared keep working after cancellation, served within the smallest plan’s viewing allowance.
- Plans and prices can change; changes never shorten a period you’ve already paid for.
Your content and share links
- Videos you upload remain yours. You give us only the permission needed to store them and stream them to people who open your links.
- Share links are unlisted, not private — anyone who has a link can watch. Treat the link accordingly.
- You’re responsible for what you share. Don’t upload content that is illegal, infringes someone else’s rights, or is used to harass or deceive. We may remove such content and, for serious or repeated violations, suspend sharing on the account.
- Deleting a video from your gallery removes it — and stops the link — immediately.
Fair use of the service
Don’t attempt to circumvent metering or activation, probe or overload the service, or use Sendio as generic file hosting for content Screenray didn’t export. Allowances exist so that the lowest price we can run the service at stays the price you pay.
The boring but important part
- The software and the service are provided “as is.” We work hard to keep them reliable, but we can’t promise uninterrupted availability, and scheduled allowances, tiers, and features may evolve.
- To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential damages.
- If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still applies.
Changes and contact
Updates to these terms are posted here with a new date; continuing to use Screenray or Sendio after a change means you accept it. Questions, disputes, refunds, data requests — reply to your Stripe receipt, which reaches us directly.
